The PS Plus game reveal and announcement formula has gotten a shake-up with the introduction of the Extra and Premium Tiers, but it all remains the same for PS Plus Essential users. This means Sony will announce the slate of new games later today, as well as release them on the first Tuesday of August (2nd August).
For several months now, a Dealabs user known as Billbil-kun has accurately leaked every single PS Plus Essential title with a high degree of accuracy. Until Sony confirms the latest leaked line-up, fans should take it with a grain of salt, but it does come from a reliable source.
According to Billbil-Kun, the PS Plus free games for August 2022 include Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater (PS5/PS4), Yakuza: Like a Dragon (PS5/PS4), and Little Nightmares(PS4). To access these games, fans will only need a PS Plus Essential subscription, but those on higher tiers will gain access to these as well. Overall, it’s a pretty strong line-up—perhaps one of the best out of recent months.
